Hanlon’s Razor

Similar to Occam’s razor, Hanlon’s Razor is usually stated as:

“Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.”

Ninety-Ninety Rule

The Ninety-Ninety Rule (regarding software engineering):

“The first 90% of the code accounts for the first 90% of the development time. The remaining 10% of the code accounts for the other 90% of the development time.”
